FREE books, beach fun and yummy food!

Hi All! Today, I am writing to share free books again and the latest from my summer in Greece.

In the above photo, I am getting cosy in a pop-up tent my husband and I purchased recently. As it turns out, it is okay for a short stay on the beach, but certainly not a picnic as it doesn’t provide enough shade. I had the good sense to bring a small sheet and pegs to attach to the front the day we wrongly thought the pop-up tent would do for a picnic. Andy and I wound up eating sandwiched between the back of the tent and the sheet, which we had to keep peeking through to get the sea view as we ate. It was hilarious! I got out of the experience with a lot of chuckles and a crooked neck. Duly noted, LOL – will make sure to go for the beach umbrella or a shady pine tree for picnics from now on.

Other than that, the beach was lovely and the water super-crystal-clear. There are several beaches like this one in the greater area around my town and I am spoiled for choice. Feeling blessed!
