Effrosyni Moschoudi was born and raised in Athens, Greece. As a child, she loved to sit alone in her garden scribbling rhymes about flowers, butterflies and ants. She is passionate about books and movies and couldn’t live without them. She lives in a quaint seaside town near Athens with her husband Andy and a ridiculous amount of books and DVDs.
Her debut novel, The Necklace of Goddess Athena, features an adorable Corfiot lady inspired by her grandmother. The book won a silver medal in the 2017 book awards of Readers’ Favorite. The same website declared it “A Stunning Masterpiece’ in a glowing 5-star review the previous year.

I was recommended to you by wordpress.com to contact regarding a question I have. I was on the Internet recently looking up the Eleusinian Mysteries and I found that there was an event that took place last year at Eleusis on October 13th related to the Mysteries. I got the impression that this was an annual event. I am going to Greece on Sept. 15th and would love to attend if there is such an event. I am in the process of putting together my own itinerary and this is a key piece of information for me in the planning of what I will be doing on what days.
