It is the holiday season, plus it’s very chilly outside. What better time for a warm cup of chocolate, right? Forget the yukky stuff from the pack, though. Today, I have a quick and yummy recipe for you to make from scratch in just a few minutes. You will need:
- Milk (one cupful per person)
- Cooking chocolate (about 25-30 grams per person)
- Orange peel
- A generous sprinkle of cinnamon powder
Preparation
Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and turn on the heat. Use a spoon to stir the contents and help the chocolate dissolve. Remove from heat when it starts to steam but before it boils. Serve immediately.
I don’t know about you, but with this gorgeous afternoon light streaming through the window, the words ‘heavenly’ and ‘divine’ can only come to mind regarding this chocolate drink! I am off to enjoy mine, hope you’ll give it a go too this Christmas!
Enjoy & Happy holidays! All the best from Athens xxx
